Icon Studios - //Makeup Classes

You may already wear make-up. Perhaps you taught yourself how to apply through trial and error, or you may never have worn make-up and would like to or need to for work but do not want to feel ridiculous.

We will teach you to apply make-up to your face, considering your features, colouring, age and lifestyle. The make-up lessons are taught in a basic language, so you will leave knowing that you will be able to master your new routine at home.

You will be excited to learn tricks that highlight your assets and camouflage any flaws in a quick no fuss way.

Each of us has a particular blend of colour tones that are in harmony with our skin, hair and eyes. These colours make your eyes shine, even out your skin tone (hiding blemishes) and give you that look of vitality and beauty

In this class you will learn how to bring out your best features and minimize the areas you like less. Napoleon Perdis trained makeup artists will show you over approximately 3 hours how to apply your foundations, powders and blushes, eye shadows and liners, lip colour and liners, false eyelashes and how to style your hair. This is an interactive class where you will be shown how to maximize the impact you make with your make up. We will recommend products and colours which best suit you and provide you with a personalized take-home book for you to keep as a reference.

If you are looking for a new make-up line we can supply you with an economical Napoleon Perdis range that that will suit your individual needs.

However if you have a make-up kit you are happy with we will utilize your products and show you how to apply them correctly.

We also offer grooming workshops in addition to this class for those who want to maximise their opportunities in their career;

//Grooming Workshop

Recently, a large number of employers were surveyed and asked their number one reason for rejecting a job applicant after the first interview. They answered 'poor personal appearance' or ‘inappropriate image for our business / company’.

Your image or "brand" communicates who you are, what you do and at which level. In our highly visual world, it is vital for you to accurately reflect the quality of your company's products and services.

How we present ourselves can affect job offers, promotions and consideration for advancement. Being aware of this is critical if you're serious about your career.

Image concerns are usually a product of limited time, knowledge, or interest. You may not be totally sure about dress codes or you may not feel confident in your grooming or you may not know how to dress appropriately for your age. These problems can be solved easily.

All it takes is spending some time with someone who can teach you what you need to learn.

We will provide you with the knowledge and know-how to create an image that is strong, stylish and professional while reflecting qualities of appropriateness and good taste.
