The French antique inspired Hair and Make up salon blows the senses into overdrive. Rich reds and blacks, antique looking timber floors, furnishings from bygone years, a sense that you could be in another country, in another time. You get that elusive feel of being welcome. The friendly and professional staff make every effort to make your visit the most comfortable and warm experience you could ask for. The beautiful salon leads onto a hallway in the same delicious theme, then more rooms…. A private room which contains the hair basin and a workstation, perfect when you need to relax just that little bit more during the fantastic head massage, or if you just feel a little privacy while you are being pampered. The life-size canvases on the walls are glorious images of just some of the beautiful people who have been photographed here before by the famous Peter Trainer, whose photography studio is located opposite just on the other side of the hallway. The contrasting stark white of the walls and floor grabs your attention and curiosity. His studio is fully equipped with cameras, lights, props, backdrops… everything you would expect to see at a high fashion shoot and more. You’ve never seen anything like this before; this is a serious photography studio! You want to see more of what can be produced here, so you visit the gallery at the end of the hallway which showcases some work. There you find more beautifully created images, a variety of portraits, art and some familiar commercial pictures for local businesses. Peter has been in this industry for well over a decade, and his work reflects that.

Its obvious that he and the styling team have a unique talent for creating beautiful things. They can make you beautiful too. The stylists Elizabeth Kramar and Nancy McKenzie have an impressive 18 years industry background themselves, having created their magic on thousands of people, and being published nationally and internationally in over 140 magazines. Both are fully qualified hairdressers and Napoleon trained make up artists. You will feel very confident in their expertise. Collaborating with Peter Trainer has made Icon Studios the only one of its kind in Noosa for all your photographic and styling needs. Final images are retouched by hand to magazine quality, every care is taken to ensure your photographs will bring you happiness for years to come.
