MAKEUP ARTISTRY / WORKFLOW
Why the Artist Docket belongs in a makeup artist’s working day
Creative work needs room for ideas and a reliable place for the details.

For a makeup artist, a finished look is only one part of the job. The reference images, client details, product choices, timing and follow-up all need a place to live.
At Icon Studios, makeup has always been connected to the photograph or event it supports. A clear brief lets an artist consider the person, the light, the wardrobe and the result before picking up a brush. The Artist Docket is Peter Trainer’s developing workspace for keeping that preparation together.
From reference to working record
The idea brings client notes, face charts, colour formulas, moodboards, appointments and production details into one beauty-focused place. For bridal or campaign work, those details can help a look stay consistent from the first conversation to the day of the shoot.
The artwork shown here illustrates the intended workflow. Features and access may change while the product develops; it is not a claim that every screen pictured is available today.
Watch the worldwide founding-artist invitation
We’re inviting founding makeup artists from around the world to share their working experience and help shape what comes next. Bridal, beauty, fashion and photographic makeup each bring practical needs to that conversation.
Public app access remains closed while saving, cloud accounts, exports and final controls are completed and tested. Register interest in the Founding Artist Search.
